As of March 31, 2026, payments to depositors of the joint-stock company “Motor-Bank” have been temporarily suspended. Reasons for Payment Suspension and Further Actions

According to the Deposit Guarantee Fund, the temporary suspension of payments is necessary for the authorized representative of the Fund to finalize the current list of depositors and carry out the relevant procedures for resolving the financial institution.

“This is necessary for the authorized representative of the Deposit Guarantee Fund to complete the full technological cycle of forming the list of depositors and implementing the bank’s resolution plan during the temporary administration at JSC ‘Motor-Bank’.”

Despite the suspension of payments, all clients—both individuals and legal entities—retain the ability to make transfers within the funds that have been credited to their accounts since the start of the temporary administration.

Temporary Administration and Preliminary Payments

The temporary administration at JSC ‘Motor-Bank’ has been in effect since February 20, 2026. On February 23, 2026, the Deposit Guarantee Fund announced an open competition to resolve the bank’s insolvency issue through an alternative method, aside from complete liquidation. As of March 12, 2026, payments of guaranteed compensation to depositors for bank deposits that matured by the end of February 19, 2026, as well as for bank account agreements, have commenced.
