Expansion of Networks for Online Purchases
As of December 18, the list of retail chains accepting payments for groceries with state support funds has significantly expanded. Networks such as Auchan, SPAR, VARUS, Torba, and ‘Simi23’ have joined the program. Previously, the initiative was already supported by Fozzy Group (‘Silpo’, ‘Fora’, THRASH!TRASH!, Fozzy), as well as the ‘Blizhenko’ network.
Within a week, the number of stores where payments can be made using ‘Winter Support’ and ‘National Cashback’ funds increased from 1160 to over 1780 locations. Thus, Ukrainians have a wider choice for purchasing food products specifically produced in Ukraine.
Conditions for Receiving and Using State Assistance
The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine reminds that applications for the 1000 UAH ‘Winter Support’ can be submitted until December 24. Applications can be made through the ‘Diia’ app or in person at ‘Ukrposhta’ branches. As of the end of December, over 17 million citizens have taken advantage of this opportunity.
‘Funds from the ‘Winter Support’ and ‘National Cashback’ can be used for utility services, medicines and medical products, books and printed materials, postal services, charitable contributions (including support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine), as well as for food products produced in Ukraine, excluding excise goods.’
It is worth noting that funds are not provided to individuals who are outside Ukraine or in temporarily occupied territories. The amount received on the ‘National Cashback’ card through the application in ‘Diia’ must be used by June 30, 2026.
