Market Forecasts and Trends
Experts expect that during the current week (from May 26 to June 1), fuel prices at gas stations will remain stable. Ukrainians cannot hope for a decrease in gasoline prices due to a significant drop in demand, which is 15% compared to last year’s figures.
“If there hadn’t been a decline in fuel consumption, one could expect that networks would lower prices. As it stands, there are all reasons to believe that networks will try to expand their margins to offset the drop in sales,”
— experts note. At the same time, it is mentioned that some small networks may still lower their prices, but their impact on the overall average fuel cost in the country will be minimal.
