Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Oksana Markarova as his advisor on the reconstruction of the country and attracting investments. The decision was announced by the head of state on his Telegram channel.

“Starting today, Oksana Markarova will continue to assist our state as my advisor on the reconstruction of Ukraine and investments,” Zelensky wrote.

Her work will encompass improving the business climate, enhancing the financial stability of the state, attracting new investments, and strategic planning for the country’s reconstruction in collaboration with international partners.

She served as the Minister of Finance of Ukraine from 2018 to 2020 and later represented Ukraine as Ambassador to the United States from 2021 to 2025.
