Official Exchange Rates for July 28: Hryvnia Strengthens Against Euro, Dollar Rises

The National Bank of Ukraine has published the official exchange rates of major currencies for Monday, July 28. According to the updated data, the exchange rate for the US dollar is set at 41.78 hryvnias per dollar, indicating a slight weakening of the hryvnia by one kopeck compared to the previous banking day.

Euro Drops: Trends in the Currency Market

Regarding the euro, the Ukrainian national currency shows strengthening positions. The official exchange rate for the European currency for Monday is set at 48.98 hryvnias per euro. Thus, the hryvnia has gained 12 kopecks against the euro.

Situation in the Interbank Market

In the interbank currency market of Ukraine, by 4:00 PM, the exchange rates for the hryvnia against the dollar were 41.79/41.82 UAH/USD, and against the euro – 48.99/49.01 UAH/EUR. This reflects a slight change in exchange positions throughout the day.

The exchange rate for the hryvnia against the euro is set at 48.98 UAH/EUR.

The current dynamics of the currencies confirm that the national currency continues to demonstrate resilience against the European currency, while maintaining stability against the US dollar.
