The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rate of the US dollar at 42.18 hryvnias per dollar for Friday, December 5. This indicates a slight strengthening of the national currency — the hryvnia has risen by 2 kopecks against the American currency compared to the previous day.

Euro Exchange Rate and Dynamics on the Interbank Market
Regarding the euro, the official exchange rate remains unchanged. The cost of one euro on December 5 is 49.23 hryvnias. Thus, in relation to the European currency, the national currency has maintained stability.
“The exchange rate of the hryvnia to the euro is set at 49.23 UAH/euro”.
As of 16:00 on the interbank currency market of Ukraine, the hryvnia’s quotations against the dollar were in the range of 42.13–42.16 hryvnias per dollar. At the same time, the quotations for the euro were 49.11–49.13 hryvnias per euro.
Currency Situation in the Market
Thus, the hryvnia continues to demonstrate slight stabilization in the currency market. Official data from the National Bank of Ukraine confirms the gradual strengthening of the exchange rate against the dollar and the maintenance of the exchange rate against the euro at a stable level.
