NVIDIA has announced the launch of production for AI-equipped supercomputers in the United States. This comes amid rising demand for AI solutions. The production of new Blackwell chips has already begun at the company’s partner factories, TSMC, in Phoenix, Arizona. Concurrently, construction of manufacturing facilities for assembling supercomputers is starting in Texas.

Supercomputers will be produced in Houston in collaboration with Foxconn, and in Dallas with Wistron. Mass production is expected to begin within the next 12-15 months. For packaging and testing components in Arizona, NVIDIA is partnering with Amkor and SPIL, resulting in a total area of over 1 million square feet of engaged facilities.
Investments and Technological Sovereignty
According to NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, the establishment of such facilities in the USA not only strengthens the country’s technological sovereignty but also enhances supply chains and ensures stable growth. As part of this project, the company plans to invest up to $500 billion in expanding AI infrastructure over the next four years. The development of the industry will be carried out in close collaboration with key contractors and partners.
Impact on the Economy
NVIDIA’s supercomputers will form the foundation of new types of data centers designed exclusively for handling AI-related workloads. Their construction in the USA promises to create hundreds of thousands of new jobs and bring significant economic benefits over the coming decades. The company’s press release states that this could be an important step in strengthening the US economy.
“For the first time in history, we are launching the production of AI supercomputers on US soil.”
It is also worth noting that US President Donald Trump abandoned the idea of restricting the export of H20 chips to China following a meeting with NVIDIA’s CEO.
