NRK Mamont: Ukrainian Robotic Complex for Cargo Transportation and Combatting FPV Drones

The Ukrainian company Armolab has presented an innovative prototype of the ground robotic complex Mamont, designed for transporting large cargo and performing evacuation tasks. In the future, this platform may be equipped with a combat module to counter enemy FPV drones.

Main Features and Capabilities of NRK Mamont

NRK Mamont stands out for its ability to transport heavy loads over significant distances, responding to military demands. The platform has a dumping function—it automatically unloads at a designated point. To protect against aerial attacks, the complex is equipped with a metal frame that allows for the installation of an anti-drone net. In the future, it may be possible to add special turrets for automatic firing at incoming FPV drones.

“Platforms like TerMIT and Numo have already carved out their niches and are operating successfully there. But in reality, there will be a need for larger NRKs that can transport more and over longer distances in the future,” said Mamonov.

Technical Specifications and Development Prospects

One of the key advantages of Mamont is its capacity and space for evacuating the wounded, providing better protection and comfort. The metal frame can be further reinforced with armored panels. The platform features a wheeled design, ensuring high mobility and simplifying repairs in field conditions. The prototype is equipped with a basic radio channel for communication, and its architecture allows for flexible equipment changes to perform various tasks.

  • Weight: 1100 kg
  • Maximum Speed: up to 50 km/h
  • Payload Capacity: up to 700 kg
  • Range: up to 100 km
  • Ground Clearance: 330 mm

Currently, NRK Mamont is in the refinement stage, with plans for its codification and scaling of production by summer 2026. The new complex is set to become an important element of logistics and evacuation, as well as enhance the protection of units from enemy drone attacks.
