Consequences of the Attack: Casualties and Destroyed Infrastructure
As a result of the shelling, four people were killed, and at least three were injured. Most of the network’s employees were not on the premises during the attack, which helped avoid even greater casualties. According to the company, among the deceased are four drivers from suppliers who arrived to unload goods. Five more people were injured.
“The attack created a large crater from the missile, and the warehouse premises sustained serious damage.”
Restoration of Logistics and Supply to Stores
Novus officially confirmed the damage to the logistics center, which is currently not operational. Representatives of the network emphasize that despite the destruction of the main distribution warehouse, there is no expectation of a shortage of goods in the supermarkets. Logistics routes will be quickly reorganized, and measures will be taken to restore the warehouse’s operations as soon as possible. Specialists are currently assessing the extent of the damage.
Novus assures that it is making every effort to ensure the stable operation of all retail outlets in the capital.
