The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has made a decision to include the ‘Eco-Industrial Park Southern’ in the Register of Industrial Sites, opening new prospects for the development of the economy in the Odesa region. Based on this site, it is planned to create about 1,500 jobs, which will be a significant contribution to the employment of the region.

Features of the ‘Southern’ Industrial Park
The total area of the new industrial facility is 37.39 hectares. The organizer of the park’s establishment is the Podilsk City Council, and the managing company selected is ‘Eco Solutions’. The industrial park will specialize in sectors such as food production, non-metallic mineral products, finished metal products, machine engineering, furniture manufacturing, and scientific and technical activities.

Investment Scale and Funding Sources
The total investment in the development of the industrial park’s facilities is estimated at approximately ₴3.7 billion. The Podilsk City Council has separately confirmed its intention to attract investments amounting to $83 million for the development of this project. Funding is expected to come from the resources of the managing company, park participants, external investors, international technical assistance, as well as support from state and local budgets.
It should be noted that ‘Southern’ has already become the 14th industrial site officially registered in the Register of Industrial Parks in 2025, indicating a gradual increase in Ukraine’s industrial potential.
