On Tuesday, December 2, PrivatBank made further changes to the foreign currency exchange rates against the hryvnia. In particular, the exchange rate for the US dollar at the bank’s cash desk increased by 5 kopecks and currently stands at 42.50 hryvnias per dollar. The euro also appreciated — its value rose by 15 kopecks and now amounts to 49.50 hryvnias per euro.

For clients planning to sell currency, the bank offers the following rates: the dollar can be sold at a rate of 41.90 hryvnias, while the euro can be sold for 48.50 hryvnias per unit. Thus, the spread between buying and selling remains quite significant, which is characteristic of an unstable currency market.
Currency Rates for Card Transactions
Regarding transactions made with bank cards at PrivatBank, the dollar rate remains unchanged at 42.55 hryvnias. The euro rate for card payments on December 2 also did not change and stands at 49.51 hryvnias.
The dollar rate for card transactions at the bank is 42.55 UAH, and the euro is 49.51 UAH.
