In September, the Ukrainian market for hybrid cars showed significant growth. During the month, the fleet of Ukraine was replenished with over 2,600 new hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV), which is 30% more compared to the same period last year. According to experts from “UkrAvtoprom”, the share of new hybrid cars in the total number reached 52%, although last year this figure was 60%.

Leaders Among New Hybrids
The highest demand among new hybrid cars in September was for the compact crossover Toyota RAV4 — Ukrainians purchased 280 of these vehicles. The second most popular was the Toyota Yaris Cross with 84 cars sold, and in third place was the Toyota Camry, with sales totaling 77 units.

Leaders Among Imported Used Hybrids
The segment of imported used hybrid cars also remains popular. The leader was the Toyota Prius, with 78 units imported. Following in the rankings are the Ford Escape and Ford Fusion US, each with 73 cars.
