Miden Blockchain Secures $25 Million Investment from Leading Venture Funds

The Miden blockchain project, specializing in transaction privacy, has successfully closed its seed funding round, raising $25 million. This round was led by prominent crypto venture funds, including Andreessen Horowitz, Hack VC, and 1kx.

Details of the Investment Round

Among other investors joining Miden are Finality Capital Partners, Symbolic Capital, as well as private investors, including Avery Ching, co-founder of the Aptos blockchain. The investments were made in the form of equity in the company and token warrants.

A token warrant is a financial instrument that allows its holders to purchase tokens from the issuing company at a predetermined price within an agreed timeframe or until a specified expiration date.

“Miden was incubated by Polygon Labs. They did not participate directly in the investment round but entered into an agreement whereby approximately 10% of the future Miden token will be distributed among the holders of the Polygon coin.”

Investment Activity in April 2025

According to data, from April 19 to April 26, 2025, 18 projects raised a total of $956.2 million in funding. This statistic confirms the growing interest of investors in cryptocurrency technologies and blockchain innovations.
