The Japanese company Pilkington Technology Management Limited, part of Nippon Sheet Glass (NSG Group), has signed an agreement with the Ukrainian company NovaSklo. This agreement includes providing engineering support for the creation of a modern production line for float glass in the Kyiv region. NSG Group specialists will accompany the project at all stages – from planning to production launch.

Upon completion of construction, NovaSklo will become the first enterprise in Ukraine to produce float glass according to the highest standards of energy efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability. The new factory is expected to create over 300 new jobs, contributing to the development of the industry and the economy of the region.

Meanwhile, preparations are underway in Kharkiv for the launch of the first underground industrial park in Ukraine. As part of the Underground Tech hackathon, participants will develop practical solutions for safe and sustainable urban infrastructure. Within the framework of the project, teams are to conduct a feasibility analysis, prepare development models, consider environmental impacts, and propose pathways for sustainable development for the new industrial park.
