Main Funding Opportunities for Entrepreneurs

  1. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) invites high-growth potential startups to participate in the 24-month Star Venture program. This program provides access to an international network of mentors, investors, and corporate partners, as well as facilitating the international expansion of Ukrainian businesses.
  2. Another EBRD program is aimed at supporting the relocation of companies from the most affected regions to safer parts of the country. Under this initiative, businesses can receive grants of up to 30,000 euros to restore their operations.
  3. In collaboration with PrivatBank, the EBRD has signed an agreement worth 600 million euros. This decision aims to ease access to credit for Ukrainian companies, provide support to relocated and frontline businesses, and facilitate their integration into European supply chains and the implementation of energy-efficient technologies.
  4. Mercy Corps is implementing the Ukraine Economic Resilience Program, which targets businesses affected by military actions. Participants can expect grants of 20,000 dollars to restore their operations and overcome the consequences of the war.
  5. Another initiative by Mercy Corps is the Ukraine Agricultural Support Program. It assists agricultural enterprises from several regions of Ukraine by providing funding ranging from 75,000 to 150,000 dollars for the restoration and development of agribusiness.

Business Support Amid War and Recovery

“International partners within the SME Resilience Alliance initiative continue to provide support to small and medium-sized businesses during the war and recovery.”

All the mentioned programs aim to help Ukrainian companies preserve jobs, restore production, expand opportunities for entering international markets, and implement innovative solutions even in challenging wartime conditions. In August 2025, these tools become particularly relevant for entrepreneurs seeking to stabilize and grow their businesses.
