Dynamics of Industrial Sectors
According to the State Statistics Service, in January 2026, the industrial production index relative to January 2025 was 91.9%. The largest drop was observed in the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector, where the index decreased to 87.3%. The mining industry and quarrying showed an index of 90.3%, while the manufacturing industry stood at 94.0% compared to the previous year.
Trends for the Year
Compared to December 2025, the reduction in industrial production volumes amounted to 14.8%. For the entire year of 2025, the industrial production index in Ukraine decreased by 1.7% compared to the same period in 2024.
