Low Efficiency of Solar Power Plants and the Impact of Weather Conditions
Prolonged cloudiness and precipitation have become the main reasons for increased energy consumption. Under such conditions, residential solar power plants operate less efficiently, leading to increased load on the overall energy grid of the country. Energy experts note that weather factors are key to forming consumer peaks during this period.
Restoration Work at Energy Facilities and Recommendations for Consumers
Restoration measures are ongoing at energy facilities following massive attacks by Russia, which caused power outages for some consumers in one of the regions of the country. As of Tuesday morning, emergency crews from the regional energy company have already begun addressing the consequences of the shelling and restoring electricity supply.
The energy company urges citizens to use electricity sparingly, especially during peak evening hours from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. It is not recommended to connect several high-power electrical appliances to the grid simultaneously to avoid additional strain on the energy system.
