Illegal Gas Station Discovered in Boryspil: Over 10,000 Liters of Fuel Seized

In Boryspil, Kyiv region, law enforcement officials uncovered the illegal operation of a gas station that was functioning without any permits and violating current legislation in Ukraine. The owner of the illegal gas station is already facing court proceedings, and the volume of seized fuel amounts to over 10,000 liters.

Details of the Searches and Seizures

According to law enforcement, in March, during searches at the illegal gas station, two fuel storage tanks, a module for gas storage and sales, two fuel distribution complexes, accompanying documentation, and handwritten notes were seized. Additionally, detectives confiscated over 10,000 liters of various types of fuel, specifically:

  • 2,300 liters of diesel fuel;
  • 3,400 liters of A-95 gasoline;
  • 4,500 liters of gas.

The total value of the seized fuel and equipment is estimated to exceed 500,000 hryvnias.

Legal Violations and Further Actions

During the investigation, it was established that the gas station operated without a license for retail fuel sales, lacked quality passports for the products, and did not have documents confirming the origin of the fuel. In this regard, detectives from the Bureau of Economic Security have submitted an indictment to the court.

“Law enforcement officials found that the gas station was located in Boryspil, Kyiv region, and operated in violation of Ukrainian legislation, specifically lacking: a license for retail fuel sales; quality passports for the fuel; documents regarding its origin.”

Currently, the entrepreneur who organized the operation of the illegal gas station has been notified of suspicion. Further investigative actions and preparations for court proceedings are ongoing.
