From Humorous Clips to Large-Scale Fundraising

Band member Yevheniy Volodchenko initiated a charity fundraiser in honor of his own wedding, which he announced on his Instagram (@jecka_kurgan). For this, a humorous song with a mini-clip was created, quickly gaining popularity among fans and encouraging donations to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Joint Projects Worth a Million Hryvnias

Recently, the band, along with the honored artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Rudynskyi, writer and military Illarion Pavliuk, and journalist Emma Antoniuk, announced the launch of a charity fundraiser for 1 million hryvnias to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To this end, a pre-sale of the manuscript of “Emil’s Book” with the author’s autograph was organized, and a short film adaptation based on the book “I See You Are Interested in Darkness” was produced. The idea’s author is Amil Nasirov, and the director is Slava Kedr. The main roles were played by Oleksandr Rudynskyi and Yevheniy Volodchenko, with Amil and Ramil Nasirov, Illarion Pavliuk, and Emma Antoniuk also appearing in the video. Current links to the fundraising efforts are posted by the members of Kurhan & Agregat in the bios of their Instagram profiles (@amil_kurganagregat, @kurgan_ram, @jecka_kurgan) and they regularly report on the results of their charitable initiatives.

During the band’s previous tour, they managed to raise nearly 19.5 million hryvnias to support the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Of this amount, over 6.5 million hryvnias came from ticket sales, which is a direct donation from the band, while the rest came from auctions and contributions from listeners.

“Thank you for coming and donating! We are proud of our audience! Glory to Ukraine,” added Kurhan & Agregat in a report post on their pages.
