Since the beginning of the year, 8,000 Ukrainians have taken advantage of vouchers for state-funded education, allowing them to acquire new specialties or professions that meet labor market needs. The state has invested 76 million hryvnias in their education, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

Popular Specialties Among Program Participants
Among the most popular specialties that Ukrainians are studying with vouchers this year are:
- Nursing – 1,962 vouchers;
- Chef – 684;
- Social Worker – 579;
- Driver – 534;
- Medicine – 420.
Who Can Obtain a Voucher?
Among those who received education vouchers, the majority are:
- People over 45 years old – 6,137;
- Internally displaced persons – 1,193;
- People with disabilities – 479;
- Combatants – 252.
It is worth noting that last year, 23,000 Ukrainians received education vouchers, and the state financed their education with 327 million hryvnias. The highest demand was for specialties in nursing, psychology, preschool education, medicine, as well as for professions such as chef, driver, tractor driver, and pastry chef.
“Vouchers can be obtained by certain categories of citizens who have vocational or higher education, are not registered with the employment service as unemployed, and have not undergone training funded by the State Employment Insurance Fund in the last 3 years.”
