The Ukrainian Grain Association (UZA) forecasts a significant increase in the production and export of grains and oilseeds in the new 2025/2026 marketing year. According to analysts’ estimates, the harvest of these crops may rise to 83.1 million tons, while exports could reach 50 million tons.

Main Forecasts for Harvest and Export
According to UZA’s estimates, the corn harvest in Ukraine for the 2025/2026 marketing year is expected to be around 29.26 million tons, with exports of this crop potentially reaching approximately 24 million tons. As for wheat, the forecasted harvest remains stable compared to the previous season at 22.5 million tons, of which 16.5 million tons may be exported.
Experts pay special attention to sunflowers: a harvest of 15 million tons is expected, with exports at 100,000 tons. Rapeseed production is forecasted at 3 million tons, with a possible export of 2.6 million tons. Regarding soybeans, in the new season, Ukraine may harvest 6.23 million tons and export up to 4 million tons.
Comparison with Previous Seasons
In the 2024/2025 marketing year, Ukraine exported 46.7 million tons of grains and oilseeds, which is less than the 57.5 million tons in 2023/2024. The production of grains and oilseeds in 2024 amounted to 78.8 million tons, compared to 82.9 million tons in 2023.
