The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has officially announced the launch of a grant program within the framework of the Brave1 project, aimed at creating a full cycle of explosives production in Ukraine. New Approach to Defense Industry Development

The program involves the formation of a complete production chain: from manufacturing equipment to obtaining all necessary chemical components. According to Yulia Svyrydenko, this entire process must take place in Ukraine, which will ensure systematic production and the necessary volumes for the defense industry.

“Everything – from equipment to chemical components – must be produced in Ukraine. Systematically and in the required volumes,” Svyrydenko noted.

Transparency and Support for Innovative Projects

The grant competition will be conducted with the involvement of technical expertise from the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine. Candidates for grants must undergo control tests, and the selection of winners will be carried out through a transparent competitive procedure. Additional details regarding the funding amounts and participation conditions will be announced by the Ministry of Digital Transformation team.

The Prime Minister emphasized that this approach indicates a new level of interaction between the state and business: the government supports those companies that have a real impact on the course of the war and the strengthening of national security. Thanks to the Brave1 platform, over 560 projects in the defense tech sector have already been financed, with more than 2.2 billion hryvnias allocated for this purpose.
