Ukrainian gas stations (GS) have reported a decrease in prices for gasoline A-95. As of May 13, the average cost of this fuel class is 54.6 UAH per liter, which is 3 kopecks cheaper than the previous day. Experts believe that gas station networks have the potential to significantly lower fuel prices, but they do not plan to do so.

According to data from the consulting group “A-95”, large gas station networks sell gasoline at prices ranging from 48.95 to 57.99 UAH per liter. The highest prices are recorded at stations like WOG and OKKO, where the cost is 57.99 UAH per liter, and at Shell — 57.95 UAH. The most affordable prices, in turn, are offered by the Avantage 7 network, where a liter of gasoline can be purchased for 48.95 UAH, as well as by Faktor, which sells gasoline for 50 UAH per liter.
Fuel Price Forecasts
Analysts note that during the current week, which ends on May 18, no significant changes in fuel prices at gas stations are expected. Although there is potential for a price decrease of 1 UAH per liter, as Brent crude oil is trading in the range of 60-64 dollars per barrel. However, according to experts, the largest gas station networks are avoiding price reductions, aiming to maintain high margins amid declining fuel demand.
“Last year, April and May had the same consumption levels. And in 2025, consumption in May is lower than in April – that’s why market makers do not want to lower prices,” the authors of the report noted.
