Investment firm Galaxy Digital has announced a strategic partnership with Superstate, the developer of the Opening Bell platform, which has enabled the tokenization of ordinary Class A shares under the ticker GLXY. These securities are now represented as tokens on the Solana blockchain.

Tokenization Mechanism and Benefits for Investors
Superstate acts as the transfer agent, ensuring real-time registration of ownership rights for the tokenized shares on the Solana network. The GLXY tokens are fully aligned with the actual shares of the company at a 1:1 ratio. This approach significantly reduces settlement times, optimizes accounting, and paves the way for continuous trading 24/7, expanding access for potential investors to this financial instrument.
Accessibility, Security, and Development Prospects
The sale of tokenized shares is available only to verified investors who have completed the KYC process. They have the opportunity to store and exchange tokens, with transaction data automatically updated in the Superstate system. The smart contract address for GLXY on the Solana network is: 2HehXG149TXuVptQhbiWAWDjbbuCsXSAtLTB5wc2aajK. Representatives from Galaxy Digital have warned users that all other similar offers should be considered fraudulent.
“We are proud to partner with Superstate, helping to lay the foundation for an on-chain capital market that will merge traditional shares with next-generation infrastructure. Our goal is tokenized capital that brings the best features of cryptocurrency—transparency, programmability, and composability—into the traditional world. And we are participating in creating a model that scales not only for Galaxy but for the market as a whole,” said Mike Novogratz, founder and CEO of Galaxy.
Following the announcement, GLXY shares showed moderate growth—up 2.8% over the past day. It is also noted that these securities continue to be listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

The Opening Bell platform from Superstate has been operational since May 2025, allowing public companies to issue tokenized shares, including for retail investors. Galaxy Digital does not rule out expanding listings on this platform in the future.
In July 2025, it became known that the eToro platform also plans to launch tokenized shares of American companies on the Ethereum blockchain with the possibility of trading 24/5.
