In June 2025, despite the holiday season, the Ukrainian labor market demonstrated record activity: 107,069 job vacancies were published, the highest figure in the past year.

Leading Regions by Number of Job Offers

The highest number of vacancies in June was posted by employers from Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. Additionally, positive dynamics were observed in Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, and Odesa regions, where the number of vacancies increased by an average of 2%.

In-Demand Professions and Labor Shortages

Workers without experience are in particularly high demand — they account for 55% of all published vacancies. Traditionally, during the summer period, the number of offers in the service sector increases; however, for many months now, the leading category by the number of vacancies remains “Skilled Trades, Manufacturing.” This indicates a significant shortage of skilled workers in the Ukrainian labor market.

As analysts note, this indicates a severe shortage of skilled labor professionals.

At the same time, employers are actively preparing for the autumn season — the start of the new academic year and the period of increased demand for workers. This is why there has been a noticeable increase in offers for educators and recruiters.

The most active companies in June were: “Avrora” (1,315 vacancies), “Fora” (1,267), “Nova Poshta” (1,059), EVA (995), and Novus (958).
