The process of importing the necessary equipment will begin in May, after which production for the construction sector will commence at the facility. Peikko Group will take advantage of the tax and customs benefits provided by legislation for participants in industrial parks, including exemptions from VAT and import duties for equipment imports.
Investments and Jobs
The total investment in the project will amount to €3 million over two years. The factory is expected to create around 50 new jobs, which will be a significant contribution to the development of the local economy.
Continued Development of Industrial Parks
Peikko Group has production facilities in 12 countries worldwide and began its operations in Ukraine in 2023 through a subsidiary that actively participates in infrastructure restoration projects. It is emphasized that despite the challenges posed by the war, industrial parks in Ukraine continue to develop and attract investments, demonstrating the effectiveness of the “Made in Ukraine” policy.
