Export Price of Ukrainian Agricultural Products Increased by 40% in 2025

According to the data from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the price per ton of exported agricultural products has risen by 40%, increasing from $315 in 2024 to $443 in April 2025. This growth is attributed to an increase in the export of value-added goods, particularly highlighted by bioethanol.

Additionally, over the past year, other key export products have significantly increased in price:

  • Sunflower Oil: $1,174 per ton (+37.8%);
  • Corn: $217 (+27.1%);
  • Wheat: $231 (+27.4%);
  • Poultry Meat: $2,385 (+11.2%);
  • Soy: $409 (+4.3%);

Since the beginning of 2025, Ukraine has exported 2.5 million tons of agricultural products for a total of $1.1 billion. The National Bank of Ukraine forecasts a significant increase in this year’s harvest: grains by 12%, oilseeds by 10%, and vegetables and potatoes by 17%.

However, experts note that the current spring is exceptionally dry for many regions of Europe, including Ukraine. The lack of precipitation, coupled with the high temperatures observed since March, may negatively impact agriculture and, consequently, global food security.
