Epicenter K to Launch Agricultural Trading in July 2025 and Considers Expanding Land Bank

The “Epicenter K” group has announced the start of its trading activities in agricultural products in July 2025. The company plans to use its own elevators not only for storage but also for transshipment and procurement of grain. This was stated by the head of the agricultural division, Svitlana Nikityuk.

Features of Elevator Infrastructure

The “Epicenter K” elevator hub is designed for simultaneous storage of up to 1.8 million tons of grain. Despite the fact that last season the capacities were underutilized and climate change continues to impact the agricultural sector, the company does not plan to reduce the volume of its capacities. The elevators are located in the Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, and Kyiv regions, which, according to the management, makes them competitive even against the offers from port terminals.

“If our elevators were located in the Odesa region, then yes, they would lose their relevance and we would have to sell them, because today port terminals are ready to offer the entire range of linear elevators. However, our elevators are located in the Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, and Kyiv regions, so we are not even thinking about selling,” said Nikityuk.

Plans for Land Bank

The company’s land bank has remained stable throughout 2023-2024, totaling about 168,000 hectares. However, “Epicenter K” is considering the possibility of further expanding its areas in the regions where it operates, particularly in the Khmelnytskyi and Vinnytsia regions. Such expansion could be the next step in the development of the company’s agricultural business.
