In Ukraine, the current electricity tariff for households will remain unchanged at least until October 31, 2025. As stipulated by the Cabinet of Ministers’ resolution No. 480 dated April 29, 2025, the price for 1 kWh is set at 4.32 UAH and will not be subject to change until the end of October.

What Consumers Can Expect from October 1
A planned review of the electricity tariff is scheduled for October 1, 2025, however, a final decision regarding any change in price has not yet been made. Experts note that the price may remain at its current level even after this date, but an official decision will be announced closer to October.
For an average family of three, the normative monthly consumption is approximately 65 kWh. This means that the electricity bill will amount to 712.8 UAH per month at the current tariff.
More Favorable Tariffs for Owners of Multi-Zone Meters
The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reminds consumers that they can significantly reduce costs by switching to multi-zone meters. By installing a two-zone meter, consumers gain the right to pay for electricity during nighttime hours (from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) at a reduced rate of 2.16 UAH/kWh. This is almost half the price of the main tariff.
As emphasized by the Ministry of Energy, the “night tariff” (with a two-zone meter installed) will be 2.16 UAH/kWh. Therefore, owners of two-zone meters will continue to pay half the price for electricity consumed from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
For consumers with a three-zone meter, the following tariffs apply:
- Night Tariff (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) – 1.728 UAH/kWh;
- Off-Peak Tariff (7:00 AM–8:00 AM, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM, 10:00 PM–11:00 PM) – 4.34 UAH/kWh;
- Peak Tariff (8:00 AM–11:00 AM, 8:00 PM–10:00 PM) – 6.48 UAH/kWh.
Installing a three-zone meter is advisable for those who can control their electricity consumption periods, for example, by avoiding the use of high-power appliances during peak hours.
It is worth noting that from May 31, 2024, a single fixed price for electricity will be in effect for all households – 4.32 UAH per 1 kWh, regardless of consumption volume.
