Electricity Tariff
On April 29, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to extend the current electricity tariff of 4.32 UAH per kWh at least until October 31, 2025. The night tariff for consumers with a two-zone meter, which is 2.16 UAH per kWh, also remains in effect.
“The government has decided to keep the electricity tariff for the population unchanged in order to ensure the accessibility of electricity for consumers. We have endured a difficult winter and intense enemy shelling that destroyed and damaged about 10 GW of generating capacity. Energy workers continue large-scale restoration and repair work across the country,” said Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko.
Gas Tariff
The company Naftogaz will continue to supply gas to 98% of the population at a price of 7.96 UAH per cubic meter. This decision is effective from May 1 and will remain valid until April 2026. Naftogaz emphasizes that the stability of the price is due to the existing moratorium on gas price increases.
“The gas supply company Naftogaz of Ukraine, which is part of the Naftogaz Group, will continue to supply gas to Ukrainian households at the unchanged price of 7.96 UAH per cubic meter. This is provided by the Fixed tariff plan for residential customers. The price will be valid until April 30, 2026,” the company stated.
In addition to Naftogaz, there are several other gas suppliers operating in Ukraine, but about 98% of residential consumers choose the services of this company.
