In February 2026, the Ukrainian market for new commercial vehicles saw the sale of 880 trucks and specialized vehicles. This figure is 7% lower compared to January, indicating a slight decrease in demand.

Demand Dynamics for Commercial Vehicles
Despite the monthly decline, demand for new trucks and specialized vehicles in Ukraine remains higher than in February of last year, with a growth of 4%. Overall, since the beginning of 2026, the country’s vehicle fleet has been replenished with 1826 new commercial vehicles, which is nearly equivalent to the result of the same period in 2025.
Market Leaders Among Commercial and Passenger Vehicles
In February, the top five most popular brands of new commercial vehicles were:
- Renault — 150 units
- Peugeot — 106 units
- Opel — 72 units
- Citroën — 63 units
- Toyota — 61 units
“As reported, in February, the ten most popular models of passenger cars accounted for 42% of the entire Ukrainian market for new passenger vehicles. The bestsellers included only crossovers, with no Chinese brands among the leaders.”
In the category of new passenger vehicles, the absolute leaders of February were crossovers: Toyota RAV4 (372 units), Renault Duster (334 units), Toyota Prado (229 units), Hyundai Tucson (189 units), and Mazda CX-5 (166 units).
