Strike on a Strategic Enterprise in Russia

According to official data, Ukrainian forces confirmed the target was hit, and the extent of the damage is currently being assessed. The General Staff did not disclose the exact date of the attack; however, earlier, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, reported shelling in the Suzemsky district with “Vampir” rockets. According to him, as a result of the shelling, one civilian was killed, and six others were injured. At the same time, there was no information provided about damage to industrial facilities.

“The target has been confirmed as hit. The extent of the enemy’s losses is being clarified.”

Strikes on Military Targets in Occupied Territories

In addition to the attack on the factory in the Bryansk region, Ukrainian command reported hits on several other military facilities of the Russian Federation in temporarily occupied territories. In particular, drone control points were destroyed in the areas of Zaliznychnyi and Dolynka in the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as a command and observation post near Uspenivka in Dnipropetrovsk region.

Damage was also recorded to a concentration of enemy personnel near Sosnivka, a logistics supply depot in the Yakymivka area of the Zaporizhzhia region, and a concentration area of weapons and military equipment near Novosvitlivka in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk.

The Russian side has not commented on these strikes. Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed to have shot down 42 Ukrainian drones during the night of April 1.

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russian regions and occupied territories have regularly faced drone attacks and shelling. Ukrainian military officials emphasize that they are deliberately working to weaken the rear bases of the Russian Federation’s army to reduce its offensive potential.
