Production Modernization and Technical Support

As part of this project, Danieli will carry out a full range of engineering, mechanical, and technological design work. This will ensure the seamless integration of the new equipment into the existing casting infrastructure of the plant. The modernization of CCM No. 2 will enable Interpipe Steel to begin producing billets of the new diameter, meeting current market demands and increasing the company’s competitiveness.

“This project strengthens the long-standing partnership between Danieli and Interpipe Steel, built on shared technical expertise and closely coordinated engineering efforts,” the statement reads.

High Quality Standards and Implementation Timelines

The development of the new round section is aimed at producing high-quality steel while maintaining stable operational efficiency and reliability of processes. The equipment will meet the modern productivity standards in effect at Interpipe Steel. The commissioning of the new equipment is scheduled for the end of 2026, allowing the company to respond swiftly to changes in the demands of the metal products market.
