As of the morning of April 22, 2025, the situation at most border crossing points on the Ukrainian border remains stable: there are virtually no queues of vehicles. In places where queues do exist, the number of cars is relatively small – ranging from 5 to 35 passenger cars, particularly at the border with Poland.
This is reported by Finway
It is worth noting that at many points, only vehicles are being allowed through, and pedestrian crossings are not being conducted. This was reported by the Western Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. According to the information received, as of 9:00 AM, queues of vehicles have been recorded only at the following points:
- “Ustyluh” (border with Poland) – 35 passenger cars, 1 bus;
- “Uhriniv” (border with Poland) – 5 passenger cars;
- “Uzhhorod” (border with Slovakia) – 20 passenger cars;
- “Kosino” (border with Hungary) – 5 passenger cars;
- “Luzhanka” (border with Hungary) – 12 passenger cars.
Additionally, at many border crossing points, pedestrian crossings are not taking place. Specifically, at the border with Poland, these points include:
- “Yahodyn” (temporary suspension of passenger car crossings);
- “Ustyluh”;
- “Uhriniv”;
- “Rava-Ruska”;
- “Hrushev”;
- “Krakiwets”;
- “Nyzhankovychy”;
- “Smilnytsia”.
At the border with Slovakia, the point “Uzhhorod” is operational, with Tysa for Hungary, and “Diakove” for Romania.
Pedestrian crossings may not be conducted for various reasons, including:
- ensuring security;
- conducting repair works.
