Crypto.com Obtains MiFID License to Expand Services in Europe

The cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com has completed the acquisition of Allnew Investments Ltd, which holds a license from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). This will enable the exchange to offer new investment services, including securities, derivatives, and contracts for difference (CFD) within the European Economic Area (EEA).

With the obtained MiFID license, Crypto.com will be able to expand its range of financial instruments available to users. The company emphasized that the new status opens access to a wide array of financial products and services in the region, contributing to the development of their product line.

Additionally, it is worth noting that the Kraken exchange previously received licenses to operate in the financial markets of the European Union by acquiring a Cypriot investment company.
