In May 2025, Toronto will once again become the center of cryptocurrency and blockchain innovations, as it hosts Canada Crypto Week, taking place from May 11 to 17. This event will attract participants from around the world and celebrate its fifth anniversary.

The event is organized with the support of two well-known conferences: Consensus and Blockchain Futurist Conference, which will also be held in Toronto. According to information provided by the organizers, the city will transform into a global hub for discussing innovations in cryptocurrency, Web3, and artificial intelligence.
Many Events During Canada Crypto Week
It is expected that over 100 related events will be organized across Canada throughout the week. These events will cover various aspects such as education, networking, blockchain technology startups, and crypto culture. Many of them will be free or open access, highlighting the values of the Web3 community, including inclusivity, openness, and decentralized collaboration.
In addition to the main events, the Blockchain Futurist Conference will take place on May 13 at the Design Exchange, the former Toronto Stock Exchange. This event plans to host several parallel sessions, including:
- Consensus (May 14-16) at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre;
- BVI Finance (British Virgin Islands) Cocktail Mixer (May 14);
- Crypto, Capital, Art & Cocktails (May 15) — a joint initiative by ICP & Nolcha;
- How to Build Algos — a practical workshop by Ocean Protocol (May 16);
- Wonder to the Future Hackathon by WonderFi Labs (starting May 13).
