Cabinet of Ministers Simplifies Military Registration for Citizens via the Reserve+ App

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved changes to the military registration rules, significantly simplifying the procedure for citizens of various age groups. From now on, the process of registering and deregistering has become more convenient thanks to digital tools and automation.

Military Registration for Young Men via Reserve+ and Remotely

Young men who turn 17 this year can register for military service from January 1 to July 31. They have two options: to use the Reserve+ mobile application (the electronic cabinet for conscripts, military personnel, and reservists) or to personally visit the district or city territorial recruitment and social support center (TRC and SSP) with the necessary documents. Registration for military service is carried out without the mandatory passing or referral to a military medical commission (MMC).

Automatic Registration and Deregistration for Citizens Aged 25–60

Ukrainian male citizens aged 25 to 60 who have not been registered for military service without legal grounds will be registered automatically. This significantly reduces the number of manual operations and minimizes the need for personal visits to the TRC and SSP.

In addition, the procedure for deregistering citizens who have reached the maximum age for reserve service has also been automated. Heads of government bodies, local self-government bodies, enterprises, and institutions are now required to make the appropriate marks in the personal military registration lists within seven days of the employee reaching the maximum age.

“Young men who turn 17 will be able to register for military service through the Reserve+ app, without visiting the TRC and without passing the MMC.”

All these changes, aimed at digitization and simplifying procedures, are intended to facilitate military registration processes and ensure their effectiveness on a national scale.
