The company “Agroinvest” from the Ternopil region has become the first in Ukraine to attract state funding for the construction of a modern vegetable storage facility. This year, the government allowed agricultural enterprises investing in the construction of vegetable and potato storage facilities to obtain loans under the “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%” program. Agricultural producers can apply for interest rate compensation on loans of up to 150 million hryvnias.

According to representatives of “Agroinvest”, the company has already received official permission to build a vegetable storage facility with a capacity of 7,000 tons. Work will begin as soon as weather conditions permit. The total cost of the project exceeds 3 million US dollars. In 2025, “Agroinvest” will grow vegetables for borscht on an area of 85 hectares, of which 65 hectares are irrigated. The main focus is on growing cabbage, which occupies 50 hectares of land.
Food Production Certification
Another achievement in the food industry was demonstrated by the company “Shchedra Nyva” from the Rivne region, which specializes in canned goods production. It became the first and currently the only canning factory in Ukraine to receive the International Featured Standards (IFS) international certification. In total, only 40 companies in the country hold this certification. Compliance with IFS requirements confirms that the production processes meet the highest global standards of quality and food safety.
