According to the results for January-November 2025, agricultural production in Ukraine decreased by 6.6% compared to the same period last year. The production index was 93.4% of the level in 2024.

Sector and Enterprise Dynamics
During this period, crop production decreased by 7.3%, while livestock production fell by 3.8%. In agricultural enterprises, the overall production index decreased by 6.8%. Meanwhile, crop production in enterprises dropped by 8%, while livestock production remained almost stable.
In household farms, the total production volume decreased by 6.3%. Specifically, in crop production, the indicator fell by 5.2%, and in livestock production, it decreased by 9.6%.
Regional Characteristics of Production Changes
The largest decline was recorded in Donetsk region, where the volume of agricultural production amounted to only 57.4% of last year’s level, indicating a drop of 42.6%. Significant decreases were also observed in Kherson region — by 29.9% and Dnipropetrovsk region — by 20.7%.
At the same time, some regions demonstrated positive dynamics. In particular, agricultural production in Chernihiv region increased by 2.2%, and in Vinnytsia region — by 1.6%.
