The pace of mobilization in Ukraine remains at an unchanged level, similar to what it was six months ago. This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, during a meeting with journalists.

“The pace of mobilization has not changed. I do not see any differences from what it has been over the last six months. I mean the plans that are in the General Staff and what they are doing there.”
Zelensky noted that he received information from the Chief of the General Staff, Andriy Hnatov, and the Commander of the Ground Forces, Mykhailo Drapatov, indicating that the mobilization plan is being executed according to the established schedules.
The President also commented on the issue of arms supplies to Ukraine: “They are coming. We are constantly talking with various countries about increasing supplies. Mainly at the level of the Ministry of Defense, at my level, and then the relevant institutions handle the management.”
Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that the need for funding supplies is critically important, as currently “we have started to find non-free options.” According to him, this applies not only to artillery shells but also to air defense systems (ADS): “You have one budget, and you plan one thing. Then, when you realize that assistance may decrease, that this is free assistance, and it is diminishing… therefore, you need to increase the amount of relevant weapons or shells.”
It is worth noting that since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, general mobilization has been ongoing in Ukraine, which has been extended at least until August 6, 2025. Mobilization applies to conscripted men aged 25 to 60, but there are exceptions for younger individuals who can voluntarily join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or sign a contract for youth aged 18-24. The Commander-in-Chief, Oleksandr Syrskyi, mentioned in one of his interviews that data regarding mobilization is confidential; however, the President previously reported that the number of the Ukrainian Defense Forces is 880,000 personnel.
