New Developments and Achievements in the Defense Sector
According to Zelensky, the Ukrainian defense industry manufactures millions of FPV drones, interceptors, and long-range missile weapons, which are already actively used by the Armed Forces. Among the successful weapon models, the President mentioned “Flamingo,” “Ruta,” “Hell,” “Neptune,” “Palyanytsia,” and “Vilkha.” All these systems are already demonstrating effectiveness on the battlefield, and the country has no intention of stopping at what has been achieved.
“The capabilities of Ukraine’s defense industry amount to millions of effective units per year, our deep strikes, interceptors, and millions of shells. Ukraine has its own long-range missile weapons. Not just a development, but a real force that is already operational. ‘Flamingo’ and ‘Ruta,’ ‘Hell’ and ‘Neptune,’ ‘Palyanytsia,’ ‘Vilkha’ – we can already be proud of all this, but we certainly will not stop here,” he said.
The President stressed that this is just the beginning of the industry’s development, and the enemy is already feeling Ukraine’s new capabilities. In particular, Ukrainian-developed drones can reach distances of over 1750 kilometers from the border, and this is just the beginning. Zelensky emphasized that these achievements are not about records, but about justice and the ability to locate the enemy anywhere in the world. Bright examples include the drones “Sichen,” “Lyuty,” “Morok,” “Bars,” “Obriy,” and FPV platforms, which have already proven their effectiveness.
Implementation of Robotic Complexes and the Future of the Defense Sector
The President paid special attention to successes in the field of robotic ground complexes. For the first time in the history of this war, an enemy position was occupied exclusively by unmanned platforms — UAVs and drones, without involving infantry and without casualties among Ukrainian soldiers. In three months, complexes such as “Ratel,” “Termit,” “Ardal,” “Rys,” “Zmiya,” “Protector,” “Volya,” and others have conducted over 22,000 combat missions, which has helped save the lives of Ukrainian warriors.
Zelensky highlighted that Ukrainian missiles, unmanned systems, interceptors, strike and naval drones, reconnaissance units, artillery, ammunition, armored vehicles, and robotic complexes are the pride of the country and reliably protect Ukrainian skies, cities, and villages. All this proves that “made in Ukraine” has long become synonymous with efficiency and strength.
The President is convinced that each new Ukrainian development shortens the path to a lasting and dignified peace. He noted that Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex has become stronger and more modern, adhering to traditions while implementing innovations. It is precisely because of this that Ukrainian weapons are gaining recognition worldwide and bringing the country closer to victory.
Volodymyr Zelensky thanked everyone who works daily in production, laboratories, training grounds, repair shops, and design bureaus for the defense of Ukraine and the preservation of its independence.
