Blackout and Consequences of the Strike

Following the attack, part of the city was left without electricity, causing significant discomfort for residents. Monitoring resources reported a series of explosions that were heard in various districts of Melitopol. Published videos show a large fire that broke out at the substation as a result of the shelling.

“In occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhia region, a series of explosions has been reported, with partial blackout,” the report states.

Explosions in Crimea and Awaiting Official Comments

In addition to Melitopol, explosions were also recorded in the areas of Simferopol, Feodosia, and Kerch. Monitoring channels noted that information about the exact targets that were hit would be released later by the relevant authorities.

At this moment, there have been no official comments from the Ukrainian side regarding the strikes in Crimea and Melitopol.

It is worth noting that Russia violated the announced “ceasefire regime” just half an hour after the temporary truce began.
