Signals about possible agreements between Russia and the USA
Zelensky emphasized that Kyiv does not possess complete information about all economic or business agreements that may be reached between Moscow and Washington. However, individual signals are coming from both open sources and Ukrainian intelligence services. The President pointed out the so-called “Dmitriev package,” which the Russian side presented in the USA.
“Intelligence showed me the so-called Dmitriev package, which he presented in the United States. It amounts to about 12 trillion dollars. This is supposedly a package of economic cooperation between America and Russia,” Zelensky noted.
Ukraine’s position on negotiations without its participation
The head of state stressed that there is a likelihood of signing or discussing bilateral documents between the USA and the Russian Federation, within which issues concerning Ukraine may be raised. In particular, this pertains to topics of Ukrainian sovereignty and security. Zelensky categorically stated that Ukraine will not agree to any decisions or agreements made without its participation.
