In Ukraine, preparations are underway for the payment of the ‘National Cashback’ for April 2026. At the same time, some citizens may not receive the funds due to the absence of a selected card for payments in the ‘Diia’ app.

Importance of Choosing a Card by May 15
Users need to select a card for receiving cashback by May 15. If this condition is not met, the accrued amounts may be canceled. This was reported by the press service of the ‘Diia’ app on their Telegram channel, emphasizing that without a linked card, there will be nowhere to transfer the funds. Currently, the system is verifying the amounts accumulated by users and preparing for payments.
“If you haven’t selected yet — do it by May 15. Otherwise, the accumulated cashback for April and previous unpaid funds will be canceled under the program’s conditions,” the ‘Diia’ warned.
How to Connect a Card for Receiving Cashback
To connect a card, users need to follow a few steps in the ‘Diia’ app: open the ‘Services’ section, go to the ‘National Cashback’ service, and click ‘Select Card’ at the top of the screen. After this, the accumulated bonuses are converted into real money that can be received on the selected card.
Users who have already selected a card and received cashback on it do not need to take additional actions — they just need to wait for a separate notification about the payment from the service.
The ‘Diia’ also promises to separately notify about the start of payments for the ‘National Cashback’ for April. It is worth remembering that it was previously explained how to receive cashback for fuel purchases in March 2026: compensation was only accrued for fuel purchased at gas stations participating in the program.
