In September 2025, the Ukrainian real estate market is experiencing a significant increase in demand for housing, with buyers showing particular activity not only in large cities but also in the western and central regions of the country. The purchase of both apartments and private houses remains relevant for many Ukrainians.

Most Popular Regions for Buying Apartments
The leader in the number of responses to apartment sale listings is the Chernivtsi region — here, each listing receives an average of 15 responses, which is noticeably higher than last year’s figure of 11 responses. The Volyn and Zhytomyr regions share second place, each receiving 11 responses per listing. The Lviv and Cherkasy regions follow with approximately 10 responses.
The fifth place in terms of interest is shared by the Transcarpathian and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, where listings receive about 8 responses. Meanwhile, in the Kyiv and Odesa regions, interest in apartments is somewhat lower — only 3 responses per listing. This trend is explained by the significant number of offers in the local real estate market, which reduces competition among buyers.
Last month, the demand for purchasing housing in Ukraine increased, with the greatest interest shown by buyers not only in large cities but also in the western and central regions.
Private House Market: Regional Features
According to September data, the highest interest in purchasing private houses is observed in the Cherkasy region — here, each listing receives an average of 12 responses. In second place is the Kirovohrad region with 10 responses per listing, while the Poltava region occupies the third position with 9 responses.
In many other regions, the demand for private houses remains stable. In particular, in the Volyn, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Chernivtsi, and Mykolaiv regions, the number of responses per listing ranges from 6 to 7, indicating buyer interest across various regions of the country.
