Use of Ka-52 to Destroy Drones
According to the Telegram channel “Exilenova+”, five days before the Victory Day parade, drones were spotted over the city attempting to be destroyed by the combat helicopter Ka-52. The released video captured the Ka-52 pursuing one of the FP-1 type devices.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported that at approximately 18:22, the air defense forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense shot down two drones heading towards the city. Emergency service specialists immediately began working at the crash sites. Later, Sobyanin added that another drone had been destroyed.
Consequences of the Explosion and Official Reactions
OSINT analysts from the Telegram channel Exilenova+ noted that a strike-capable long-range drone FP-1 could have reached Moscow. According to their data, the explosion occurred about 3 kilometers from the building of the Russian Ministry of Defense and approximately 6 kilometers from the Kremlin.
As a result of the explosion, apartments on the upper floors of one of the high-rise buildings were damaged. In videos published online, destroyed rooms, broken doors, debris, and damaged furniture can be seen. Eyewitnesses report that at least three apartments were damaged, and one of them had a gaping hole in the outer wall with a view of nighttime Moscow.
It is also known that State Duma deputy Andrey Kolesnik stated there was a threat of a “powerful response” in the event of attacks on Moscow during May 9. At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the high likelihood of new drone strikes on the Russian capital during the parade on Red Square.
