Damage and Casualties Among Civilians

Preliminary reports indicate hits on residential buildings in several areas of Kyiv. As a result of the strike, one person was killed and 25 others were injured, including a pregnant woman and a child. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, missile debris caused fires near a medical facility and in a non-residential building. In the Holosiivskyi district, a fire broke out in a medical facility due to falling debris, and another non-residential building was damaged.

“There may be interruptions in electricity and water supply in the city,” said Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko during the night.
