Ukrzaliznytsia has announced the launch of a new passenger train that will connect Mykolaiv and Ivano-Frankivsk. The train will make its inaugural journey from Mykolaiv on August 1 and from Ivano-Frankivsk on August 2. This new route will be a convenient option for tourists and residents of southern and western Ukraine.

Route and Schedule of the New Train
The train has been assigned the number 209/210 and will run through the main railway hubs of the country. Among the stops are: Novyi Buh, Dolynska, Taras Shevchenko Station, Korsun, Bila Tserkva, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Lviv, and other stations. The train will consist of compartment and open-plan carriages.
“The route includes stops at Novyi Buh, Dolynska, Taras Shevchenko Station, Korsun, Bila Tserkva, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Lviv, and others. The train comprises compartment and open-plan carriages,” the statement reads.
The train will depart from Mykolaiv at 15:54 on odd days of the month (every other day) and will arrive in Ivano-Frankivsk at 12:32 the following day. The return trip from Ivano-Frankivsk will leave at 13:05 on even days and will arrive in Mykolaiv at 09:24 the next day.
Access for Residents of Kherson and Ticket Prices
Residents of Kherson can take advantage of the new route by traveling to Mykolaiv on the following trains:
- №319/320 Kherson – Mykolaiv-Freight
- №101/102 Kherson – Kramatorsk
- №109/110 Kherson – Lviv
For the return to Kherson from Mykolaiv or Lviv, trains №110/109 Lviv – Kherson and №320/319 Mykolaiv-Freight – Kherson are also available, operating on a fixed schedule.
Ticket sales for train №209/210 open 10 days before the departure date. Tickets for the August 1 trip are already available. The price for a ticket in the open-plan carriage is 395.06 UAH, while in the compartment it is 656.44 UAH.
