JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” has announced the launch of a new international train on the Kyiv – Bucharest route, which will start operating on October 10. The train route covers major Ukrainian and Romanian cities and provides convenient connections to the airport in the capital of Romania.

Daily Schedule and Train Route
The new train will operate daily, ensuring stable connections between Ukraine and Romania. The train departs from Kyiv at 6:30 AM and arrives in Bucharest at 6:47 AM the following day. In the opposite direction, the train leaves Bucharest at 7:10 PM and arrives in Kyiv at 7:41 PM the next day.
The route will pass through key cities: Vinnytsia, Zhmerinka, Mohyliv-Podilskyi, Velchynets, Ungheni, Iași, and ends at Bucharest’s central station – Gara de Nord. From this station, high-speed electric trains regularly run to the international airport.
Ticket Prices and Travel Features
The ticket price for a compartment on the new train is approximately 3,800 hryvnias. This allows passengers to take advantage of a comfortable and safe way to travel from Kyiv to Bucharest and quickly reach the airport for further journeys.
