Joint Stock Company “Ukrzaliznytsia” has announced an increase in the maximum bonus for locomotive crews, including instructor drivers. The new bonus amount will be no less than 30% and will begin to be calculated starting in September. Previously, the maximum bonus for this category of employees did not exceed 15%.

Bonus Increase – Result of Negotiations
The decision to increase bonuses is the result of several months of negotiations between the management of Joint Stock Company “Ukrzaliznytsia” and the trade union of railway workers and transport builders of Ukraine. Specialists from the economic department of the trade union council, representatives from the “Locomotive Company” branch, and relevant departments of the railway company participated in the consultations.
“Starting in September, the locomotive crews of UZ (including instructor drivers) will receive a bonus for achieving specific performance indicators. The bonus will be no less than 30%. Previously, the maximum bonus was capped at 15%”
Next Steps for Implementation
The trade union noted that by the end of the current week, meetings of commissions on labor remuneration will take place locally. During these meetings, a unified mechanism for implementing the adopted decision regarding the bonus system for locomotive crews is planned to be developed.
The increase in bonuses is expected to motivate employees and enhance the quality of service performance by locomotive crews across Ukraine.
